Job Description:
The Human Resources Representative will play a critical role in supporting various HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department.
You will work closely with the Human Resources team and collaborate with employees at all levels of the plant organization.

This position reports to the HR Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Assist with the recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, conducting initial screenings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating new hire orientation.
Assist with orientation activities such as tracking new hires through various stages of the hiring process and coordinating with departments to get the required data for a successful onboarding.
Maintain accurate employee records, including all new hire onboarding documentation, follow up on benefit enrollment and policy acknowledgments.
Assist with pre-employment screenings such as drug testing and background checks.
Ensure compliance with employee I-9's by performing the E-Verify process on new hires and rehires to verify employment eligibility.
Provide support on other selected HR projects, programs and initiatives as needed.
Provide support in employee relations matters, including addressing employee complaints and concerns.
Assist in the implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing correspondence and maintaining HR documentation, securing documents for audits that involve HR and review data for accuracy.
Accountable for understanding and putting into practice the WL Plastics SHE Principles.
Additionally, the HR Representative has a responsibility to cascade the understanding of the principles through the location and their work group.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated ability to lead and promote a safe working environment/culture.
Expertise in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to form and maintain strong relationships with all employees as required.
Keen attention to ensuring accuracy of data and timely follow-up of unresolved issues.
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential job function.
EDUCATION &
Experience:
Requires a high school diploma.
Associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
At least three (3) years of experience working in a Human Resources environment.
HR experience in petrochemicals or other manufacturing industry experience is preferred.

Communication:
Strong communication skills are a requirement for this role.
The HR Representative must communicate well and appropriately the needs of site management and convey those needs to other employees.
Verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills are critical in this role.
Organizational Skills:
The HR Representative will need to demonstrate initiative and skill in planning and organizing tasks.
Problem Solving:
The HR Representative needs the ability to exercise judgement, knowledge, and experience to identify and resolve problems.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee will be required to:
read, communicate, verbally and in written form, remember and analyze information, and remember and understand all instructions and guidelines.
Ability to wear PPE, including, but not limited to, hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toed footwear that meets ASTM F-2413-2005 standards.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The position is located at WL Plastics location in Titusville, PA.
Office setting TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel is minimal and limited.
Travel to other cities or manufacturing facilities may be necessary for training or benchmarking purposes.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within WL Plastics; therefore, candidates and employees must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
